Biography

Fausto Cabrera Díaz (Las Palmas, October 4, 1924 – Bogotá, October 10, 2016) was a Spanish film, theater, and television actor, theater director, writer, and poet who later became a Colombian citizen. He participated in the founding of Colombian television. For nine years, he was one of the first in-house directors of the National Television of Colombia, alongside Maestro Bernardo Romero Lozano. He was also director of the Chamber Theater, founder of Teatro El Búho and the Bogotá District Theater, and worked as both director and actor in various theater companies. His television, radio, poetry, and theater programs were widely recognized.
