Biography

Spanish actor born in Barcelona (Catalonia). He has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Ramón Llull in Barcelona. He is also fluent in 4 languages: Catalan and Spanish (native), English and French. He began his career in television with several participations in series of Catalan regional television as 'Estació d'enllaç' or 'El cor de la ciutat', series in which he became known for his role as Iago in 2007. He has also participated in some state television series such as 'El comisario', 'Física o química' and 'Amar es para siempre', all of them on Antena 3. In cinema he debuted with the film 'Mil cretins', and participated in the film 'La voz dormida' which was nominated for the Goya Awards and pre-selected for the Oscars. In the theatre we have seen him in plays such as 'Amantes' and 'Romances'.

On a personal level, he is the brother of the actress Aina Clotet, and son of Dr. Bonaventura Clotet. In 2011 he married actress Ana de Armas, whom he divorced two years later. He is currently in a relationship with actress Natalia Sánchez.
