Biography

Mark LoMonaco is an American retired professional wrestler best known for his work under the ring name Bubba Ray Dudley. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as an ambassador and coach. LoMonaco built his legacy primarily as one half of the Dudley Boyz—also known as Team 3D—alongside D-Von Dudley, forming one of the most influential tag teams of the modern era.

After debuting in 1991, LoMonaco rose to prominence in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1995 as part of the Dudley Brothers. Teaming with Devon Hughes as the Dudley Boyz, the duo became synonymous with ECW’s tag division, capturing the ECW World Tag Team Championship eight times and helping define the promotion’s physical, chaos-driven style.

In 1999, the Dudley Boyz transitioned to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), where they became a cornerstone of the Attitude Era’s revitalized tag team scene. Across WWF and later WWE, they won multiple tag titles, including eight World Tag Team Championships, along with reigns as WWE Tag Team Champions and WCW World Tag Team Champions. During this period, LoMonaco also became a fixture of WWE’s Hardcore division, winning the Hardcore Championship eight times.

Following their WWE departure in 2005, LoMonaco and Hughes joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), rebranding as Team 3D while LoMonaco adopted the name Brother Ray. The team added further tag success in TNA and the NWA before splitting in 2010, after which LoMonaco reinvented himself as a singles competitor under the name Bully Ray, going on to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice and headline Bound for Glory in 2013.

After later stints back in WWE and Ring of Honor (ROH), LoMonaco returned to TNA for a final run with Hughes. The Dudley Boyz wrestled their final match together at Bound for Glory 2025, facing The Hardy Boyz in a closing chapter that paired two of the most influential tag teams of their generation. The bout served as a symbolic sendoff for both teams, linking ECW, the Attitude Era, and modern tag wrestling in a single farewell moment.

Across his career, LoMonaco amassed 36 championships across ECW, WWE, TNA, ROH, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, including 23 tag team titles. He and Hughes were inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame in 2014 and the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018, cementing their legacy as one of the defining tag teams in professional wrestling history.
