Biography

Silvio Laurenzi (Rome, May 20, 1936 - Rome, November 5, 2021) was an Italian costume designer and actor.

He began his career in cinema in the first half of the 1960s as an actor, an activity that around the first half of the following decade he began to alternate with that of stage costume designer, which over time became his actual profession, especially in the genre of Italian sexy comedy.

Nonetheless, he continued to sporadically play some small roles, almost always impersonating the role of the funny little man with a homosexual orientation: in this sense, those in two films directed by Steno stand out, La patata bollente (1979) - in which he has several exchanges with the protagonist Renato Pozzetto - and Mi faccia causa (1984) - in which, as a lawyer, he addresses the magistrate (Christian De Sica) in the case in which he has to defend his client (Franco Caracciolo).
