Biography

Margaret Brown (18 July 1867 โ€“ 26 October 1932) was an American socialite, philanthropist, and activist, best known for surviving the sinking of the ocean liner RMS Titanic on its maiden voyage. Often called โ€œThe Unsinkable Molly Brown,โ€ she helped organize and lead fellow passengers to safety in the lifeboats and later advocated for Titanic survivors. Brown was also active in social reform, womenโ€™s rights, and charitable causes throughout her life.
