Biography

Amanda Wong is an Asian-American film and television actor. Raised in beautiful British Columbia, her childhood was filled with family, the arts, nature, athletics, and study. She is a provincial gold medaling athlete, a pre-paramedic, a Guinness World Record holder, a toured singer, and an academic. She graduated top of her class from The University of Hong Kong with a Masters in Journalism and worked at various reputable news organizations before she decided to pursue a career as an actress.

Wong is best known for role as Mei Sou in Hallmark Channel's popular "When Calls The Heart." She is also known for her Recurring role as Holly Chen in the popular Hallmark mystery series, "Mystery 101;" Supporting role in the award-winning web series "Welcome To Surrey" as Skylar; and her Supporting role in TV Movie, "Love On Trend."

Passionate about storytelling and committed to telling inclusive stories, Wong is an advocate for representation on screen.
