Joe RussoĀ (born July 18, 1971) is an American filmmaker with his brother, Anthony Russo, collectively known as theĀ Russo brothersĀ (/ĖruĖsoŹ/Ā ROO-soh). They direct most of their work together. They are best known for directing four films in theĀ Marvel Cinematic UniverseĀ (MCU):Ā Captain America: The Winter SoldierĀ (2014),Ā Captain America: Civil War(2016),Ā Avengers: Infinity WarĀ (2018), andĀ Avengers: EndgameĀ (2019).Ā EndgameĀ grossed over $2.798Ā billion worldwide, briefly becoming theĀ highest-grossing film ever.Ā
